well, i happen to be very, very good at throwing parties.

i would suggest a kick ass fundraiser ASAP, and i can help w/ location, DJ's, art, and all that other stuff that makes a party fabulous. i am really good at organization.

we really just need volunteers to work the thing, the rest is the easy part. if you wanted to do a more intimate party i can do that too. my connections are yours.

but here's the kicker, the bus needs to be represented in some way, so if this is something you want to do, start gathering your photos from years past, call other photogs and get theirs, too... etc.

it's funny, because i am SO burnt from throwing solstinox, and i wanted to get involved in something else, but i just don't have the energy for what's crossed my path lately, it just didn't feel right......

but for the bus??????!!!!!!!! I TOTALLY HAVE THE ENERGY! i've been looking for the next thing to get me going.

another option, i know you are a hairdresser, and i an aesthetician. i've raised lots of money in the past by donating all my earnings to a charity on a given day, and i mean ALL, i donate my time and supplies, every cent paid is a cent given to my charity of choice for that day. i have access to a beautiful space in SF where we could do a pampering party and give all the money raised toward the bus? i do the waxing and facials, you do the hair? i could likely pull in a manicurist if you don't know of one.

i'm SOOOOOOOOOOOOO down to help save the bus!!!! please let me know what i can do! i'm committed!
